Stripping length: Okay...Do this right! You NEED about 3/8 inch of wire stripped of insulation. Too much, it might short. Too little, you may never find the break. So please, spend the time to learn to strip!

Making jumpers: Start by stripping off at least twice the insulation you normally would. say, about an inch.

Now trim the insulated wire to the length needed to span the jump.

Slide the remaing insulation to the center of the wire.

Bend the wire in a staple shape.

Trim each end to about 3/8 inch if needed.
