This chapter is really best refered to in the book. It simply suggest ways to correct the motion of your robot if it tends to drift in one direction. It has been my experience that the vast number of times that this occurs, it is caused by debris in the gearbox. I would look first for mechanical solutions before embarking on software solutions.
