Start by placing your bread board in front of you like this. Note that the column
labled 1 is to the left.
Now cut a jumper able to connect the circled pins. You are now trying to connect
the positive buss strip on the top of the breadboard to the botttom of the breadboard.
When it is completed it should look like this:
